Please find our 2023-24 series of Green Homes videos and information below:
Earlier in the year we started the new round of our Green Homes project.
Some youtube videos were produced showing energy saving strategies used in local homes.
There are a variety of projects on these videos: from solar panels to simple air to air heat pumps, all effective ways for you to reduce energy bills and climate carbon.
Now those homes and some others are being offered for personal visits. The energy strategies can be seen in context and the resident will be able to answer any questions.
Please contact me using the form below for a full list of available homes and the green improvements featured, as well as details of how to reserve your place.

This is the second virtual home tour for our Green Homes series.
This house shows an air-source heat pump (ASHP) which has been linked to the house’s central heating system in place of an old gas boiler. This means the owners have now electrified their heating. So, as the UK’s electricity mix gets closer to zero carbon, so does their heating. Air-source heat pumps are much greener than gas boilers.
The home owner speaks about their experience with the heat pump system, which keeps their family warm.
