First field trip for Fal Energy Partnership
Members of Fal Energy Partnership (FEP) are going on their first field trip to Roskrow Barton Windfarm starting at 2pm on Friday 12 October.
FEP have been invited to have a close-up view of the two Vestas V52 wind turbines, producing 1.7MW of electricity. A tour of the windfarm by REG Windpower will be available describing in-depth the benefits of renewable wind generation and the planning procedure needed to get the turbines on the land. Members will also have the opportunity to climb the towers and see from the inside what the machines can do.

After the trip, members will also be welcome to a meeting about wind-energy and how community groups can benefit by producing their own renewable energy. Fal Energy Partnership is looking for other community groups within the Falmouth & Penryn Community Network Area to support.
Membership of the Social Enterprise with full voting rights is £1 and can be paid on the day.
